Depart from Frederick at 7:15am.
Day 1: Our first stop to the area will be in Norfolk. We will board the Spirit of Norfolk for a sight seeing luncheon cruise. Afterward, we'll check-in to our oceanfront hotel in Virginia Beach. Enjoy the afternoon on your own. Dinner is at Rockefellars, a waterfront restaurant where we'll enjoy a delicious meal on the water.
Day 2: Enjoy breakfast at our hotel. Oceana Naval Station is the place to be today for their 50th Annual Air Show. You can be rest assured that the Golden Anniversary Oceana Air Show will be something you will not want to miss. You will thrill at stunning performances by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, Mike Goulian, Patty Wagstaff, John Mohr, Manfred Radius, Bill Leff, the GEICO Skytypers and more. The skies will be filled with thunder from F/A-18 Hornets and Super Hornets, the E-2C Hawkeye, the F-22 Raptor, a large-formation "Fleet Flyby" and the dramatic Air Power Demonstration. The U.S. Navy Leap Frogs and the British Red Devils will team up to perform their heat-stopping parachute jumps and the Shockwave Jet Truck will fill the air field with smoke and flames. Dinner will be at Captain George's, one of the biggest seafood buffet restaurants in the country.
Day 3: Enjoy breakfast at our hotel. Prior to our departure home, we'll tour the Norfolk Naval Base. You will have an opportunity to see aircraft carriers, destoryers, frigates, amphibiouse assault ships and one of the busiest airfilds int he country. Afterward we'll depart for home.
