"Natural Air Conditioning." Delight in the clean ocean air, rocky shorelines, and rich maritime cultures of the northern Atlantic Coast. From Nova Scotia where you'll see waves crashing against the cliffs at Peggy's Cove and tour the beautiful Public Gardens and restored waterfront in Halifax. Take in spectacular ocean views as you wind along the famous Cabot Trail. Visit Prince Edward Island, the "island cradled in the waves." Enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches and charming fishing wharfs so characteristic of this region. Traversing New Brunswick, you'll visit the spectacular Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides. We take the new Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island. Arriving on the island, we follow Highway 1 through potato fields and farming areas to Charlottetown. We tour the lush farmlands, pass tiny fishing hamlets, and cross the wooded slopes of Prince Edward Island. You'll view deep coves lashed by ocean waves, and marvel at sandy beaches, stark red capes, and green hills. At Woodleigh Replicas we'll walk through models of famous castles, cathedrals and colleges; then by the home of Lucy Maude Montgomery, authoress of the Anne of Green Gables series. Tonight we will travel out in the countryside for a lobster feast. (B,D)

This afternoon we tour the museum at the John F. Kennedy Library, which is considered by many to be the most beautiful work of recent architecture in the country. We travel through Rhode Island, en route to our overnight accommodations in Norwich, Connecticut. (B)
Day 12– CABELA’S: In Hamburg, Pennsylvania, we stop at Cabela’s. From humble beginnings in 1961 with a simple ad in a Wyoming newspaper and in the back of a Sports Afield magazine in 1962, Cabela’s has grown into what’s know today as the “World’s Foremost Outfitter.” This new 250,000-square-foot outdoorsman’s paradise is as much a wildlife museum as the ultimate source for outdoor gear. Thank you so very much for planning such a great trip to Nova Scotia. Everything was really great--we stayed at great hotels, stopped at good restaurants, and enjoyed the many surprises provided. Dave and David were great tour guides and driver on the trip. Even though the weather may not have been great, and we saw lots of fog and mist, we still had a good time, particularly at Peggy's Cove, Boston, and the Inverary Resort. Again, thanks for the wonderful trip.
